The Why's in Life

Have you ever seen or been around kids that constantly ask the question why?

Then you eventually get tired of answering their questions. Sometimes I feel like I ask God too many questions, and that I make Him tired of answering. But the truth is, He will never get tired of us asking questions. He wants to hear from us and wants us to talk to Him. Sometimes we ask Him questions like, “Why did this happen to me?” “Why did you have to take them from me/us?” “Why is this going on in my life?”

And in those hard questions that we ask, sometimes His reply is “One day you will understand.”

We have to understand that everything happens for a purpose and a reason. Even Though we may not understand why someone lost their job, lost a friend or family member, or why you are worried about what is next in your life, let me tell you… There are a lot of things we do not know, but we know that God's will is always the best.

Psalms 23:1-6 “The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, and He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

God is with us no matter where we are, what is happening in our lives, no matter what questions we have, how many questions we ask Him, how confused we are… He will never leave our side.
