In The Waiting

As you all know I am going to Montreat College and living on campus. Well, I had a potential roommate that ended up not working out. As I was trying to find another roommate, I just had to be patient and wait. I knew that God will provide and whoever I room with will be the one that God has put into place.

There are so many times in our lives that we have to wait and be patient. In Jobs, school, relationships, singleness, living situations, etc. We are put in these seasons of waiting to lean on God and His plan for our lives and to ultimately glorify Him in all things.

Romans 8:25-26 “But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”

In our waiting, sometimes we get weakened or tired of waiting and being patient for something to happen in our lives. But we have to remember that God knows what is best for us, and He is always right on time with His plan for our lives. Even though the waiting seasons may be tough and you may be tired of it, this is a time for you to grow your faith and grow closer to God.

God gives us these waiting moments because it makes us lean into Him and chase after him as fast and as hard as we can.

Always remember to be patient and trust that God's plan is better for your life than your own.
