Changes for a Reason

Hey y'all! It has been a while since I have written a blog. This second semester of college has taught me so much already. I have a new roommate, made some new friends, and have felt a little more overwhelmed with school work, and yes… even being a freshman in college I am already to the point where I just want my classroom, my own class, and just to be a teacher.
Even in these feelings, I realize that God has put me in the place I am for a reason and has put the people that I am around in my life for a reason as well. This semester I have gotten the opportunity to share the Gospel, share God's love, and be a light to the people around me.
I have realized that it is so important to be a light and spread the Gospel no matter where you are or who you are around, and honestly, this is speaking to myself.
A verse that stuck out to me is ”Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”(Matthew 28:19-20)
This verse shows us that we are supposed to make disciples and share the Gospel. It is so important to do this no matter what your circumstances, or any change in your life. God has brought these people in my life to be a light to them, but also for me to learn.
So today I challenge you to be a light and look for the people around you, and people in general who need Jesus. We need him as much as anyone else in this world.
